Introduction: Roasted Mushrooms With Browned Butter, Garlic and Thyme Sauce
Side dishes for the holidays are just as important as desserts if not more important. I know that I post a lot of dessert recipes but today we are keeping it simple and roasting mushrooms. Not everyone is a mushroom fan but if you do have mushroom lovers in the house, you might want to double the batch because the sauce is absolutely fantastic. This recipe only requires a few simple ingredients, some that you probably have on hand. There are no fancy dishes that you need to prepare this dish, it is really straight forward and simple. Unfortunately I couldn't find fresh thyme so I used dried thyme but I really recommend using fresh thyme if you can find it. So if you want to make your own Roasted Mushrooms with Browned Butter, Garlic and Thyme Sauce, then follow the step by step guide below or watch the video tutorial here:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Toss the mushrooms in the oil, salt and pepper.
Step 3: Place Baking Sheet and Bake
Place mushrooms on a baking sheet in a single layer and roast in oven until they start to caramelize, about 25 minutes. I lined my baking sheet with aluminum foil for easy clean up.

Halfway through baking the mushrooms, mix them using a wooden spoon.

About 5 minutes before your mushrooms are ready to be putted out of the oven, start browning the butter over medium heat until it starts to turn a nice brown color.

Remove the butter from heat and mix in the garlic, thyme and lemon juice.
Step 7: Remove the Mushrooms
Put mushrooms from the oven
