Introduction: Null

In 2010-2014, U.S. fire departments responded to an average of 166,100 fires per year that involved cooking equipment. This robotic system would use thermal imaging, a smoke sensor, light sensor, and artificial intelligence to detect and extinguish a fire in the kitchen. There is a camera with the sensors listed that would spin on a 360 degree axis towards the top of the robot. At the bottom of the robotic arm there is a nozzle that would shoot out fluid to extinguish the fire after moving to the proper position provided by the on board computer system.
