Introduction: Rustic Flower Frame

A while ago I salvaged a frame from an old canvas. It sat in a corner for a long time before I finally had an idea for it. Hope you like my Instructable!

Supplies

  • Wooden Frame
  • Scrap Paper
  • Craft Glue
  • Scissors
  • Acrylic Paint
  • Paint Brush
  • Hot Glue Gun

Step 1: Make the Flowers

Poe-tate-o has an excellent Instructable for making paper flowers. I made mine using scrap construction paper. It only took about one sheet to make all of them.

Step 2: Paint the Frame

First mix your base color, then paint the entire frame and let dry. Using a small brush, lightly streak silver paint until you achieve the desired effect.

Step 3: Glue the Flowers

First lay out the flowers where you want them. Glue each one individually, holding in place until the glue dries.

Step 4: Finished!
