Introduction: Scary Eyeball-Collector (easy)

This is an awesome and easy Halloween costume for any one of any age. I made this from stuff I already had around the house. This is super simple, perfect for a last minute costume idea. YOU CAN MAKE THIS NOW! I wanted to use a different color cellophane for the eye, but I only had red. Personally I think the red makes it extra creepy so I win either way.

Step 1: What You Need

Everything you need is probably already lying around the house. All you need to make this mask is:
-Large white plastic bowl
-Knife
-Scissors
-Tape
-Colored cellophane wrapping (doesn't have to be red)
-Styrofoam plate
-Markers
-LED light or miniature flashlight (optional)
-String
-Hoodie

Step 2: Cut a Hole

Cut the bottom of the bowl out. Try to keep the edges tidy. Remember knives are dangerous!! Be careful!

Step 3: Cut Styrofoam Plate

Cut the styrofoam plate. I didn't take a picture before taping the cellophane, sorry. The inner circle should be the same size as the hole in the bottom of the bowl.

Step 4: The Lens

Cut out two cellophane circles about the size of the styrofoam plate canvas. Two is the perfect amount. You can easily see out and barely see in. Tape both pieces to the plate. You have now created the lens.

Step 5: Outer Rim

Tape the lens to the opening of the plastic bowl. Color the styrofoam black with a sharpie.

Step 6: Pupil

Cut a small circle from the remaining styrofoam plate. Color the circle black; I left a crescent to seem like light reflecting.

Step 7: Make It a Mask

Cut a hole on each side of the bowl's rim. If the bowl has a pour spout, use it for the chin. Tie a piece of string through each hole. Leave enough slack that the mask could hang loosely over your face.

Step 8: Blood Vessels

Use a red sharpie to create blood vessels around the edge of the bowl.

Step 9: Covering the Rim

Tape your scrap cellophane to the rim of the bowl, if you used red. If you didn't, just color the rim red with a sharpie.

Step 10: LED

Take your LED and battery setup and tape it into some styrofoam. This is for safety so it doesn't shock you. Wrap it in styrofoam and tape shut. You can also use a tiny flashlight and tape the button down.

Step 11: Light It Up

Tape your light to the top edge of the bowl. It should create a glow effect. This is really creepy for Halloween. It looks awesome with a single LED light, however you couldn't really see it with my camera so I added a flashlight to help you visualize it.

Step 12: Add Prop

Add hoodie and my stolen eyeballs ( https://www.instructables.com/id/Dismembered-Eyeball ) and you have a scary costume for boys, girls, young or old.

Step 13: Vote for Me!
