- The assembly contains a compressed spring
- While placing slight pressure on the top shroud assembly, loosen the bolts using the 1/8" Allen Wrench
Step 2: Remove Shroud
- Once all the bolts are loosened, pressure can be removed from the top of the shroud and the assembly will decompress
- Place the upper assembly aside for now
Step 3: Remove the Poppet
- Slide the poppet out of the adapter housing
- Check the o-ring to make sure of no tears
Step 4: Remove the Spring, Poppet and Sleeve From the Shroud
- Remove the sleeve from the shroud
- Remove the spring from the poppet
- Remove the poppet from the sleeve
- Check for problems or any cracks
Step 5: Accessing and Cleaning

- Spray the parts cleaner on each part to make sure of cleanliness
- Inspect all pieces to ensure they are good
Step 6: Lubing Poppet
- Utilizing a small amount of Krytox grease on your finger
- Grease the poppet shaft using your finger
Step 7: Continue Lubing
