Introduction: Sharpie Nail Art for a Lazy and Clumsy Girl

I don't often do nail arts and coquettishly things... But when I do, I use my Sharpie®

Step 1: What Do You Need

To do this pink-purple ombré manucure, I used

-Transparent polish or base coat (I used Essie's all-in-one base coat)
-Sharpie® parmanent marker (fine point)
-My nails

I have to mention that I don't have a drawer full of color polishes, I only have one base coat. Perhaps, my love for drawing obligates me to have plenty of Sharpies of all colors unimaginable. If there is any polish color missing, it's interesting to use a parmenant marker as a substitute.

Step 2: Base Coat

Apply the base coat and let dry.
Wait until it's really dry because the microtrace amount of solvent should not react with the markers, otherwise the marker pen will have polish on the tip and would not work properlly thereafter

Step 3: Apply the Colors

I used an electric pink for the tips, plum color for the middle part and dark purple for the lower part. Use your nail are a canevas, be creative, only sky is the limit!

Step 4: Apply the Top Coat

I used the same all-in-one base as a top coat, and it worked fine. The solvent in the polish blends the marker colors just a little, resulting of an enhanced gradient.

Step 5: Final Result

That's the final result, yep, there is a little mess around the nail on my fingers, but it will wash away in a day with washing and scrubbing. I wish to see your results with different colors and patterns!
