Introduction: Shopping Bag Carrier With Shock Absorber
In a similar way that pneumatically tires absorbs shocks as they rolls over rough surfaces, the spongy covering of the handle of this Shopping Bag Carrier helps to take out jarring while walking with heavy shopping bags. This is further assisted by having a little give in the ropes holding the shopping bags. This can be seen in the photos above.
Step 1: Attaching Bags
Bags are attached to the Shopping Bag Carrier by slipping a bag handle through the loop and over the rope's end. It then becomes self locking, ensuring the bags will not fall off.
Step 2: The Build...
This Shopping Bag Carrier was made form a skipping rope I purchased from a discount store. This was done by cutting the rope in half and removing the handles. This enabled 2 Shopping Bag Carriers to be made from one skipping rope. It can also be made from other materials.
Step 3: Pre-assemble
The length of the rope was about 58 centimeters long. It was folded in thirds as shown and placed next to the hollow handle.
Step 4: Assembly
Assembly was achieved by inserting the folded rope into the handle as shown.
And that's it! The Shopping Bag Carrier has been completed. Make two and carry one in each hand.
Step 5: In Use
* Makes it easier to carry shopping bags.
* Easier to pick bags up when rested on the ground.
* Easily carry 4 bags at once.
* Bags don't dig into your hands
