Introduction: Sidney Cyclops Hand Art

About: I am a conceptual artist, and my DIY projects are mostly inspired by pop culture (movies, music, sports, TV). I mostly specialize in painting, graphic design, drawing, digital photography, performance art, and…

Growing up, I always loved The Adventures of Timmy the Tooth. Even better, I grew up with one of my personal favorite characters: Sidney Cyclops. He's an iconic one-eye monster with a witty and cute personality, and here I am dedicating his role with this cute hand art design.

Step 1: Start With a Sketch

Like most hand art designs, I always like to begin with a light sketch using a white eyeliner pencil.

Step 2: Fill In

From there, I begin to fill in Sidney's head with Lime (Mehron Paradise)

Step 3: Dark Blue Shirt

Then, I continue the fill-in process with Dark Blue (Mehron Paradise) for his shirt.

Step 4: Head On!

Then, I filled in his baseball cap with Light Green, Beach Berry, Lagoon Blue, and Yellow (Mehron Paradise). Then, I used more Yellow for the horns on either side of his head.

Step 5: Black Hair

Then, I dived into my black paint (Mehron Paradise) for his iconic curly black hair.

Step 6: More Black

Also in black, I outlined all of the features, then got to work outlining his mouth.

Step 7: Features

To create the rest of the features, I finished his mouth with white teeth and an orange tongue. Then, I filled his iconic one eye in the middle of his face with white, turquoise, and black.

Step 8: Finish Off

Finally, I finished him off with some light green and light blue highlights throughout his face!

Step 9: Done!

And that's all there is to it! He is so cute, and on the show he starred in, he is one of the most iconic paper boys that Flossmore Valley has ever seen!
