Simple $1 Photo Studio

Everybody should be able to take studio-quality photos without breaking that piggy bank and buying an expensive $100+ photo studio. So, with that in mind, I designed this simple, yet effective photo studio, for less than $1!! You won't be able to tell the difference between that $100 studio, and this $1 studio!!! Now that I've piqued your interest, let's get started...

Step 1: Stuff

For this instructable, you will need:

1. A Mini Trifold Board- $.50

2. A sheet of Poster Paper (color is up to you, but get one with a matte to semi-gloss finish, to avoid unwanted glare). - $.50

3. A desk lamp or flood light (optional, but it makes the photos turn out REALLY nice. You can see the difference in a few of the pictures below).

Step 2: Cut the Board

Cut the trifold board in half. The height at which you cut the board is dependent on the size of the paper you use.

Step 3: Staple the Paper on the Board

Staple the top edge of the paper to the top of the tri-fold board. Don't go to high or too low. Try to aim for 1/2 inch or 1 centimeter from the top edge. Make sure the top of the paper is flush (level) with the top of the tri-fold board.

Step 4: Stand It Up

Use the two flaps of the board to stand the whole assembly up (the paper will look like a ramp).
Try to avoid shadows (Picture 13).

You now have your very own DIY photo studio, that only cost $1!!! Hope you guys enjoyed this 'ible!!!
