Simple Strong Single Action Knex Gun

This is my first instructable, a single shot Knex pistol. It has some power behind in and is really accurate. I've gotten this thing to go to 70 Feet with KILLERK'S Sniper rod. I hope you enjoy making this gun, good luck!

Oh, yes, im new to instructables, just saying hello. I've browsed around this place for a few months, I love this site.

Step 1: Parts

Gather the following parts.

NOTE: YOU DO NOT NEED THE BLUE RINGS!

Step 2: Make Handle

Look at the picture below. Get those pieces out.

Assemble the figure, look at the other pictures to help you.

Step 3: Make Barrel

Now it's time for the barrel, gather the parts on the picture below.

Make the figure, use the other pictures to help you.

Step 4: Make Ram

Now your on to the ram, gather the following peices on the picture below.

Make the object. Use the picture to help you.

Step 5: Assemble

Now that you got all the objects built, now you can assemble them.

Use the following pictures to assemble the gun.

Step 6: Putting Rubber Bands On

Now that the structure is finally done, lets put the rubberbands on.

Use the pictures to help you put them on.

Step 7: Adding Rubber Bands (Con.)

Now that you got the ram rubber bands on, now for the triger rubber band.

Look at the pictures to set the rubber band.

Step 8: How to Fire

Now when you go to shoot, pull your ram back with the orange piece pull back, and wait until your trigger snaps into place, now set your rod in and pull the trigger.


NOTE: YOU CAN USE ANY TOD RANGING FROM THE LITTLE GREEN ONES TO THE RED ONES. TRY USING KILLERK'S SNIPER ROD AND SEE HOW FAR YOU CAN SHOOT THE YELLOW OR RED RODS.
