Step 1: Sawing Out the Roof

mark out a line about 1 to 1.5 inches of the edge a saw it of using the bandsaw. it'll take some time as the wood is pretty thick, take your time

Step 2: More Sawing

saw off both ends, about an inch away from the edge

Step 3: Hollow Out the Centre

hollow out the center leaving 1 inch thick walls with a bandsaw. the not-needed chunk of wood can be thrown away or if not, use in a different project.

Step 4: Sealing the Blade's Entry and Exit

fill the gap with wood glue and then use clamp it together.

Step 5: Sealing

use the ends from step 2, glue them back on with wood glue, and clamp.

Step 6: Hole for the Birds

using a 1.25-inch drill bit, I drilled a hole at the front.

Step 7: Add Roof

Attachment of roof is done here with wood glue, if you would like to, you could use high grit sandpaper to make it smoother.

Step 8: Add Rope

add the rope under the roof to hang it

Step 9: Hang It on a Tree
