Introduction: Stackable Train

I made a train that can easily be added on to or edited freely to your own liking in Fusion 360. You can also make multiple of them and attach them using magnets

Supplies

Fusion 360

A 3D Printer

Wire Cutters

Upholstery Nails

Magnets

Finish Nails

2 Nuts

2 Bolts

Step 1: Fusion 360

The train was made to attach using pegs, this makes room for customization and swapping out of bodies and roofs for the train, the parts of the train is linked below here. 6 Parts are used that come together to make the train, the top, the body, the base, the 2nd base, the trucks, and the wheels

Step 2: Print the Train Parts

Use the files linked above to print out the parts to the train, you can also edit them if you like as long as the pegs are still there to attach everything together.

Step 3: Assembly

Once the parts are printed, the body parts should all go into each other easily, then after that you will need to use 2 screws and 2 nuts to attach the trucks to the base2, the base above that already has holes in it which the ends of the screws can go through, attaching base2 to everything above. Now for the wheels, use wire cutters to trim the ends of the Finnish nails and then stick the nails through the trucks, then you can attach wheels on each end of the nail. Finally, use the upholstery nails to attach the magnets to each end of the train through the trucks.
