Introduction: Summertime Grilled BBQ Ham
Supplies
Chunk of Ham
BBQ Sauce
Ziplock bag
Grill
Grill tray
Knife
Cutting board
Step 1: Slice Ham
First you are going to need to slice up the ham chunk. When you are doing this, the slices will need to be thin enough that you could put it on a sandwich, but not so thin that it is falling apart and will just get burned on the grill.
Step 2: Add BBQ Sauce
Place all of the sliced ham into the ziplock bag and add a few spoonfuls of BBQ Sauce.
You may need to add more or less depending on how much meat you are working with.
I used Blue Sky BBQ Sauce, but any brand would work just fine.
Be sure that there is not too much sauce on the ham, as this might make it difficult to deal with on the grill. A paper towel can be used to remove some sauce if too much is used.
Step 3: Grill
Heat up the grill and cook the ham on low. This is important because the ham will be able to brown properly without burning. Cook for about 15-20 minutes on low.
Step 4: Occasional Flipping
Every 5-7 minutes (or sooner if burning occurs), flip the ham to allow cooking on the other side.
Step 5: Enjoy!
Once the ham has been completely cooked, remove it from the grill and enjoy!
