Introduction: Super Simple Flashlight

In this Instructable I will teach you how to make a simple flashlight!

Step 1: Gather Materials

For this project you will need...

  • Small light bulb
  • Aluminum foil
  • 9v battery
  • Hot glue gun

Thats it!

Step 2: Bulb to Battery

Hold the small bulb horizontally on the negative lead and hot glue it to where it is still touching.

MAKE SURE that the end of the bulb (Silver dot on bottom) doesn't touch the negative lead it will cause a short and the bulb won't light up.

Step 3: Foil to Battery

Fold the aluminum foil into a small square as shown and make a small curve at the end.

Then place the foil against the positive lead and hot glue the sides down.

Step 4: Light!

All you have to do now is press the aluminum foil against the back of the bulb and BOOM you got yourself a super simple flashlight!
