Step 1: Removing the Grip Tape

Once supplies are all purchased or gathered together, you will then start to remove the grip tape from the upside of the board using a blade. (Be careful using blade) Start by peeling the grip tape off at the the edges of the board from one side down to the opposite side. It's best to peel off the grip tape in a warm area.

Step 2: Cutting & Measuring

In this step you will begin to take measurements of any photo that you would like to use for the frame. Use the ruler that you gathered in the beginning and measure the sides of the photo being used. Once measurements are gathered find a perfect spot on the board and trace an outline of the measurements collected. Once traced you will than grab the cutting saw and begin to cut out the outline. (Make sure to be careful and have adult supervision for assistants) Once cut out and satisfy with your cutout than you will begin step 3.

Step 3: Sanding

Start by grabbing the sheet of sanding paper, than begin sanding each side of the board. You will need to sand the board twice to have a smooth texture. If needed you can also use the blade to remove any unwanted things and to shape it. Once satisfied with your results you completed step 3.

Step 4: Paper Frame

Grab the 1 sheet of watercolor paper that you have and place the photo that you selected to use and place it in the center of the paper. Trace the outline of the photo on to the paper and once you have done that you will than use the ruler and draw another outline 1 cm in from the previous photo outline drawn. Cut out the outline that was 1cm in from the regular photo outline.

Step 5: Gluing

Gather the transparent paper and cement glue, and than place a good amount of cement glue on to the board. Place the transparent paper on the board so that it acts like a glass to cover the photo. Once finished you will than garb the frame that made from the watercolor paper and do the same gluing it on to the board.

Step 6: Adding the Photo

Grab the photo that you selected to use and place a small amount of glue on the edges of the photo about 1cm from the edges in. Next place it on to the watercolor paper frame. Grab the tape and than tape the sides of the back of photo to the watercolor paper frame so that the photo will stay in place.

Step 7: Back Cover Up

Than grab the cement glue and start putting a good amount of glue on to the back of the watercolor paper frame. Grab another watercolor paper and place it to the back of the frame. Once placed right grab the tape and than tape both ends of the watercolor paper. The watercolor paper will act like a back cover up for the transparent paper, inner paper frame, and photo.

Step 8: Finishing Up

Finally, after everything is finish and correctly placed in the right order you the grab the blade and cut each side of the board so nothing is popping out. This will be the last thing you will need to do once completed you now have your self a skateboard picture frame.
