Introduction: THE MINT TEA
You want to share a pleasant and friendly moment with a recipe which will do the difference. I have it for you!!!! A mint tea which spends you a nice moment and travels you in the Orient thanks to several flavors which awakens ours taste buds.
Step 1: INGREDIENTS & ACCESORIES
INGREDIENTS:
· Water ( the quantity depends of the number of the persons)
· Fresh mint
· China green tea
· Sugar ( this depends of your taste)
We need a teapot, special glasses for the tea, a kettle and a spoon to mix the tea.
Step 2: STEP 1
Boil the water in the kettle. And meanwhile the water, pour the China green tea in the teapot, aproximately two soup spoons and wash the leaves of the fresh mint.
Step 3: STEP 2
Pour a little of the water in the bottom of the teapot in order to liberate the flavors of the China green tea. Throw it then in the basin. We can now fill the teapot of the hot water.
Step 4: STEP 3
Plunge the leaves of the fresh mint into the hot water and we can mix then thanks to a spoon.
Step 5: STEP 4
Plunge sugar cubes in the tea. The number of cubes depends of your taste. Indeed if you want a very sweet tea, choose to 20 sugar cubes. But on average it’s preferable to put between 14 and 16 sugar cubes. We can again mix with the spoon.
Step 6: STEP 5
The tea is almost ready. Now we must mix it to harmonize and to spread all flavors. So you are going to pour the tea in a glass and then you are going to pour back the tea in the teapot. Repeat the operation several times. At the end, we can taste to know if it’s suitable for you and if it needs to add something.
Step 7: STEP 6
Now the tea is ready. And in front of yours guests, you will pour the tea raising the teapot to make froth. You can serve it with several accompaniments which will respect the oriental atmosphere such as oriental pastries or bread homemade.
