Intro: Temporary Tattoos :)

STEP 1: What You Need

•ink pen. I used a fineliner and it works well, a gel pen could work just be careful not to put on too much ink.
•paper. Tracing paper or greaseproof paper is best to use but i didnt have any left so i used normal paper here and it worked ok although it did run a bit.
•cloth and warm water

STEP 2: Draw Your Designs

You can design them in pencil first if you want then go over them in pen but i just drew them straightaway in pen i think its easier. Colour over thickly but try not to have liquid ink on it.

STEP 3: Text

Remember that it will be flipped around when you put it on your skin. If you want to do a design with writing on an your not very good at mirror writing then draw it on in pencil and trace it on the other side in pen.

STEP 4: Cut Out Your Design

Cut out the one you want to use and decide where to put it. I would recommend doing a small ish one for the first attempt and put it somewhere you can easily reach like your arm.

STEP 5: Print It

Put the design side of the tattoo towards your skin. Use an cloth with warm water but wrung out and put it on the paper for about 30 seconds. Then peel it off and leave it to dry in the air.

*you need to actually put the cloth on the paper and hold it on but i needed my other hand to take the picture.

STEP 6: Done :)

It should last a few days. If you want it to last longer you can put hairspray on it as well. Mine ran a bit but like i said i think its because of the paper because i have done this method before and it worked fine.

I was reading it for ages like but I needed the other hand to take a picture
And I said that for a while
i tried it it doesnt work well with sharpie
I was wondering whether tracing paper is better than normal printer paper?
This is cool for kids and teens just want to play around and make their own temporary tattoos. This will also show their creativity. Thanks for sharing this one to us. I can even copy some designs from https://wannabeink.com/ where I usually got my tattoos.
Does this work with sharpies? I can't find any liquid ink pens anywhere but online and I have a ton of sharpies
I tried it with Sharpies, it works but is really light... Gel pens might work (if you have them).
does this work with any pen and on printer paper?
It needs to be an inky pen, for example a biro wouldnt work, gel pens should be ok just make sure its completely dry i havent tried it before it might smudge. I think a fineliner is best. I would normally use greaseproof baking paper for this because it transfers the design better but i used printer paper in the picture and as you can see it works just isnt as clear.
