Introduction: The $5 Automatic Alcohol Dispenser
So with quarantine being lifted off my country I noticed alcohol dispensers in an attempt to stop the spread of the virus but these alcohol dispensers required to be touched making it a possible route for being infected with the virus. I made this automatic alcohol dispenser to stop that possibility. This low cost 5$ dispenser is beginner friendly to make by not requiring any programming skills and arduino.

Step 2: Parts and Materials
Here are the parts were gonna need
Dc pump x 1
PVC tube x 1
Adjustable Spray Nozzle x 1
TIP32C Transistor x 1
IR Proximity sensor module x 1
Micro USB breakout board x 1
1N4002-4007 Rectifier Diode x 1
100R 1/4W Resistor x 1
Mini Breadboard x 1
Prototyping board x 1
Project enclosure (like a mason jar)
Step 3: Prepare the Enclosure
I reused an old coffee container for our project
Step 4: Cutting the Prototype Board
Our prototyping board is too large for our project to save some for future projects lets cut it down to a smaller size
Step 5: The Cap
Get the cap of your enclosure and make holes for the pvc tube and motor wires to go. You can secure them with hot glue.
Step 6: The Circuit
Follow the diagram above for the wiring of our parts.
Step 7: Wire It All Up
Once you finished wiring up the circuit it should look like this.
Step 8: (OPTIONAL) 3d Print an Enclosure
To make the project look better I 3d printed an enclosure for the electronics. This step is completely optional this is just for aesthetics
