Learn how to make an Earbud Organizer from a recycled mint container and drinking straw.

Do you ever get annoyed with tangled up earbuds? When you buy expensive apple earbuds it comes with an organizer built into it. Well here is a cheap and easy solution. It’s the earbud organizer. This is a project, anyone can do, for any age. Listen to music, but need your earbuds, you can easily take it out from the earbud organizer. This is great for traveling. Now you never have to buy expensive earbud organizers ever again.

Step 1: Supplies

The supplies you will need are, a mint box, straw, and scissors. You can buy straws, mint box, and scissors basically anywhere for really cheap. Don't stress if you don't have straws, you can use any any piece of plastic you can wrap your earbud wire around that also fits in your mint box, just make sure the piece of plastic is cuttable. You don't have to use a mint box were only using a mint box because it is easy to go, and it fits in a pocket, but any box will work.

Step 2: Tools

You only need tool for this project, a pair of scissors. We used scissors to cut the straw that will be used in the holder.

Step 4: Step 2

Find your straw and scissors for the next step.

Step 5: Step 3

Take your scissors and cut the straw in half. This will help you wrap the cord straightly without being tangled.

Step 6: Step 4

Now you put the cord through the straw all the way up to the buds.

Step 7: Step 5

Lastly wrap the rest of the cord around the straw. Now all you have to do is put the the cords in the box and your done.

Step 8: Conclusion

Are we genius or are we genius. Now you'll never waste precious time untangling your earbuds again. Something we found tricky was making sure everything fit. An example is, if you have a small box, make sure you don't have a big straw because when you wrap the cord around the straw there might not be enough space. A way you can stop this from happening is by figuring out how big your straw is going to so you can wrap on the cord, as soon as you get your mint box or any other box. One tip from my family is any project worth doing, is 99.999% patience. The earbud organizer will conquer the market in the future. Have fun!
