Introduction: Treat Feeder Dog Toy
This fun toy that is designed to stimulate a dog's mind and get a tasty treat.
Supplies
- PVC saw/ wire saw
- Electric drill
- ½” standard drill bit
- 11/16” spade bit
- Drop cloths
- Measuring tape
- Pencils
- 1 ½”x90” PVC pipe
- 20: ½” PVC caps
- Sandpaper
- PVC primer and cement
- Goo Gone (optional)
- Dog Treats/Kibble
Step 1:
Measure and cut the PVC pipe into 10"-long pieces. You can use either the PVC saw or a wire saw to cut the pipe.
Step 2:
Sand the two ends of pipe.
Step 3:
Glue a cap onto each end of the pipe. First use primer, then cement, and put the cap onto the end.
Step 4:
Drill random holes that are about 1/2 - 1” in diameter. (I put the pipe into a table clamp to hold it still.) Sand the holes until they are smooth.
Step 5:
Use Goo Gone to clean off glue that slipped out of cap.
Step 6:
Put treats in PVC pipe and watch your dog enjoy rolling it around to get a nice treat.
