Introduction: Turn a Milk Jug Into a Dust Pan or Scooper
Need a cheap dust pan? Something to scoop dirt with while gardening? Or a small shovel to build sand castles? Turn your old milk jug into all three of these things!
Step 1: Things You Need
What you need:
-an old milk jug
-a sharpie
-scissors
-an X-Acto knife or something similar (optional)
-a sponge with a rough side (optional)

Step 2: Prepare Your Milk Jug
Rinse the milk jug and remove the label.
Step 3: Outline With Sharpie
Outline the dust pan/scooper with a sharpie to later help you guide your cutting. You can shape your dust pan/scooper whichever way you want.
Also, if you're like me, don't worry if your outline isn't straight. You can scrub off the sharpie marks later.

Step 4: Cut Along Outline
Cut along the outline with a pair of scissors. If you're having a hard time creating the initial cut, you can use an X-Acto knife or something similar to cut right in.
Step 5: Scrub Off Sharpie Marks (optional)
If you didn't cut off the outline marks or if you messed up on your outline and it bothers you, you can scrub it off with water and the rough side of a sponge.
Step 6: Finish
Now you have a little dust pan/scooper! It may not be durable for the long run, but it was (almost) free!
