Introduction: Ultimate Burgers and Garlic Fries
For the BBQ contest, I made these incredible burgers. They have a cheese center and awesome flavor, and they're fairly easy to make. I also made garlic fries as a side.
Step 1: Ingredients
For the burgers:
-2 lbs ground beef (mine was previously frozen so ignore the exp. date)
-1 minced green onion
-1 sliced tomato
-some lettuce
-1 sliced yellow onion
-some salt and pepper for flavor
-a splash of worcestershire sauce
-a large spoonful of minced garlic
-a few slices of cheese and a few cubes of cheese (number depends on how many burgers you're making)
-bacon (optional)
-burger buns
For the fries:
-3 mid-sized chopped up potatoes
-a small amount of olive oil (just enough to coat the potatoes)
-salt and pepper for flavor
-another spoonful of minced garlic
-2 lbs ground beef (mine was previously frozen so ignore the exp. date)
-1 minced green onion
-1 sliced tomato
-some lettuce
-1 sliced yellow onion
-some salt and pepper for flavor
-a splash of worcestershire sauce
-a large spoonful of minced garlic
-a few slices of cheese and a few cubes of cheese (number depends on how many burgers you're making)
-bacon (optional)
-burger buns
For the fries:
-3 mid-sized chopped up potatoes
-a small amount of olive oil (just enough to coat the potatoes)
-salt and pepper for flavor
-another spoonful of minced garlic
Step 2: Start the Fries
Chop up your potatoes and put them in a good sized bowl. Sprinkle as much salt and pepper as you feel is enough into it, and add the garlic. Add olive oil a little at a time and mix it around. You want just a thin coating on all of the soon to be fries. Make sure the seasonings and garlic are evenly distributed as well. Spread out on a cookie tray and bake at 350° for about an hour or so (or until they look crispy enough).
Step 3: Burgers
Put your ground beef into a large mixing bowl, and add a little salt and pepper, the worcestershire sauce, the garlic, and the green onion. Mix it all up until everything is evenly distributed. Make a basic burger shape with your mixture and press a cheese cube into the center. Cover up said cheese cube so that it just looks like a normal burger again. Toss them on the BBQ at 350° and cook as a burger is normally cooked (about 15 minutes per side). Once both sides are done, place cheese slices on all the burgers and let them sit in the BBQ for a few minutes to let the cheese get melty. - - - make sure not to put them on the grill until the fries are about halfway done - - -
Step 4: Plate It!
Put the burger in a bun and add the bacon, onion, tomato, and lettuce, and whatever sauces you may want, and put some fries on the side, and enjoy!
