Yep, I'm at it again. More unicorn cookies!! This time, they rattle with mini MnMs inside!
This cookie is based on the shape of a unicorn horn, using cream horn forms. I hope that makes sense. :D Check it out, it's very close to the instructions on my Unicorn Poop Cookies, but these have an added surprise inside! They would make AWESOME party favors for a little princess party, or even for a mythical event. Unicorns are for everyone, so enjoy!!

Step 2: Make Your Dough
Make your cookie dough of choice and color as needed - you can choose how you want your horns to look. For tips and techniques on this, just visit my Unicorn Poop Instructable. There, you will find the recipe I used, the method of coloring and storage. :) This instructable will begin once you've gotten all your dough colored!
Step 3: Now to Wind It Up!
Take small portions of colored dough and start wrapping one of the cream horns with it, from tip to bottom. Lay the next color above or below the last line that you just made. Keep this pattern up until you have all your colors wrapped around the horn.
Once you have them all on there and you may see some gaps - no problem. Just lightly smoosh the cookie dough to where it needs to be. Basically take some bulky dough and press it in the direction you desire to fill any gaps. Do the same technique when it comes to the bottom of the horn, or the opening. You want to have a flat-as-possible end, so you can cap it later.
Then take one of the cream horn forms that you aren't using, cut a circle of dough out. This will look like a small, round, cookie...But in fact, it will be your cap! For the open end of the horn, later.
Lay them onto some parchment paper and bake. As opposed to the unicorn poop, these will bake for around 10-12 minutes.
Let them cool on a cooling rack for a while! You don't want your horn to implode. Mine didn't, so I don't think you will have any issues.

Step 4: Fillem' Up!
Now that you have your cooled horns, it's time to fill them with mini MnMs!
Make some royal icing, any recipe will do, and you could even make half a recipe or something. You only need enough to outline the circles and "glue" them to the horn once it's filled with MnMs.
Put your candies of choice into the cookies, use the royal icing to secure a cap on the end of each one, then wait overnight for them to dry perfectly.
Once that's done, you can put your glitter layer on. Or you can do that before filling them, it's up to you lol.
For the glitter --- just use a food-only paint brush or your fingertip to paint the piping gel on in a very thin layer. Once you have your surface barely glossy, sprinkle with disco dust. For ease of use, put a mini cupcake wrapper over your disco dust, secure with mini rubber bands, poke holes into it and that will create a shaker. Then you can remove the wrapper to put the extra glitter in, then the wrapper back on, with mini rubber bands and screw the lid right on top.

Step 5: Play With Your Food!
Now that you're pooped from making those horns...You know what to do with the rest of the dough. Now you can enjoy them, play with them, gift them, whatever. :)
