Up-cycled Musical Insturment: Rattle Drum

Musical instrument I chose to make is rattle drum. I chose this because it is easy to make and

you can use recycled materials to make it. Rattle drum is simple design that I decorated it more extensively.

Step 1: List of Materials

1) any circle shape with height of 1 inch\and hard

2)goggles or balloons

3)beads

4)duck tape

5)paper towel roll or make it from paper

6)scissor

7)hot glue gun

8)Construction paper

9)string or yarn

Step 2: Step 1

First cover your both open side of the circle with your goggles or balloon. Make sure to pull your goggles while you taping it. If you don’t pull it hard enough it will not make good sound

Step 3: Step 2

If your paper towel roll is big cut it in half

Step 4: Step 3

Tape your two sides of paper towel roll to make it like like before with smaller diameter.

Step 5: Step 4

Cover your paper towel roll with construction paper of your choice

Step 6: Step 5

Attach your handle to your circle shape

Step 7: Step 6

Cut out some flower out of construction paper to decorate the handle

Step 8: Step 7

Glue your flowers to the handle

Step 9: Step 8

Make little whole in construction paper that cover cside of circle and attach your bead to your string and glued to your paper. Cover side of circle with construction paper

Step 10: Step 9

Cover the side with duct tape of your choice and you are finish
