Introduction: Using Conditioner As Shaving Cream

About: I am a conceptual artist, and my DIY projects are mostly inspired by pop culture (movies, music, sports, TV). I mostly specialize in painting, graphic design, drawing, digital photography, performance art, and…

Have you ever realized that once you go inside the bathroom to shave your legs, you suddenly witness that there's no more shaving cream! Or maybe you forgot to buy some! Not anymore! In come hair conditioner! Sounds like a weird thing to shave with, especially on your legs, but the bonus here is the moisturizing results in the end! You will see why in the next step, so easy, you'll want to start shaving today!

While I was reading the February 2015 issue of TWIST magazine, I realized that this life hack was something I have never done before, since I usually work with regular shaving cream. However, this would be fun to try!

Step 1: Choose Your Conditioner and Shave

For this life hack, all you have to do is squeeze some conditioner in your hand, apply it to your legs, like you would with shaving cream and shave away!

Want to know more about how this would work for you? The secret is the moisturizers that applies within the conditioner. When you wash you hair and use conditioner, it is intended to leave your hair silky smooth. Same thing when you use shaving cream. As you see in the intro photo, the Barbasol shaving cream has soothing aloe. With conditioner, you can get the same moisturizing results on your legs, leaving them silky smooth as well. My go-to? Try Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine conditioner. This one comes with Moroccan argon oil and apricot. You can also try Herbal Essences Hydralicious conditioner with shea extract. Either way or whatever you have, you legs will be stubble free and beach ready or at any time that you want to flaunt your sexy side!
