Valentine's Day is just around the corner and thse cupcakes are perfect for that special someone or just for you!!! Make these cupcakes in just 11 easy steps.

Supplies

2 sticks of softened butter
1 cup sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
3/4 cup flour
1/3 cup cocoa powder
1 tbs baking powder
1 tsp red food coloring
cupcake tin and liners
powdered sugar

Step 1: Preheat Oven to 350°

Preheat to 350 degrees and wait until fully preheated.

Step 2: Combine Butter, Sugar, Eggs, and Vanilla Extract

Cream together butter and sugar until fluffy, add eggs one at a time until combined, finnaly add vanilla extract and mix.

Step 3: Add Flour, Cocoa Butter, and Baking Powder

Slowly mix in your dry ingredients until fully combined.

Step 4: Add Color

Combine 1 tsp of food coloring or until you get your desired color.

Step 5: Put Liners in Tin

You can pick up some fun V-day liners and add them to your cupcake tin!

Step 6: Add Batter to Tin

Spoon in your batter until it is about 2/3 full.

Step 7: Cook

Place your tin in the oven and cook for 25 minutes or until completly cooked.

Step 8: Let Them Cool

Remove from oven and let your cupcakes cool.

Step 9: Make Icing

While your cupcakes are cooling make your icing:

cream together half cup of butter, 2 cups powdered sugar, and 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
add 2 tbs milk and beat until fluffy

Step 10: Ice Cupcakes

Put icing in icing bag and ice your cakes.

Step 11: Enjoy!!!
