Introduction: White Hot Chocolate

Winter is a time when most people living in non-tropical/ desert climates want to stay warm. we've all had hot chocolate, and its great, a good way to stay warm with a tasty beverage, but personally my favorite chocolate type is white. Now some people may argue that white chocolate "isn't real chocolate" but those people are absolutely wrong (to me anyway). So because of my love of this great chocolate that is white, I decided to create "White hot Chocolate"!

Step 1: Ingredients

What you need for this creation of warm goodness is:
2 cups of milk
2 cups of half and half cream
8 oz of white chocolate (chips or chopped)
2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
This recipe serves 4 people

Step 2: Milk and Creme

Pour the 2 cups milk and 2 cups creme into a large heavy bottomed pot
Heat on medium low for five minutes

Step 3: Chocolate and Vanilla

Next take your chocolate chips (don't eat any)
And pour them into the pot
Take your 2 tsp of vanilla extract and pour that in also
Mix we'll until the chocolate has melted into the milk and it has a yellowish colour. It is done when you can scrape your spoon along the bottom of the pot and there is no more melted chocolate

Step 4: Sugar Dear?

For an extra sweet treat add 2 tbsp of sugar
I have tried this in the past and while popular with some people, others have found the added sugar overwhelmingly sweet
If you do choose to add the sugar, put it in along with the chocolate and vanilla

Step 5: Ladle It!

Use a ladle or other big spoon to scoop out your creamy goodness and into huge mugs

Step 6: Toppings

Let the white hot cocoa sit for a few minutes or serve it piping hot
Then add your desired toppings such as but not limited to:
-Whipped creme
-Marshmallows
-Sprinkles
-Candy canes
-Biscuits
-Cookies
-Pastries
-Etc.

Step 7: Serve

Serve this to your loved ones on a cold winter day or any other day, I won't judge your decisions
If you have any questions or comments you know where to ask them
