Supplies
Supplies:
- Midori
- Apple rum (I had captain morgan sliced apple, any dark rum should be similar enough)
- Apple Pucker
- Simple Syrup
- Lime
- Peeler
- Knife
- Boston Shaker
- Jigger
- Juicer
Step 1: Ice the Shaker
I added enough ice to fill it up 1/3 of the way, add more or less depending on how you like mix your drinks.
Step 2: Add Spirits (spooky Ones Too)
Parts are as follows:
- 2oz Midori
- 2oz Apple Rum
- 1oz Apple Pucker
- 3/4oz Simple Syrup
Step 3: Lime-O-Rama
Peel your lime for later use as garnish, then split lime in half and juice entirely into drink.
Step 4: Going All In
All ingredients should be in shaker, no turning back now.
Step 5: Shake It Up
Add top to the boston shaker and shake for 12 seconds. Shake as you prefer, just make sure the top glass is firmly in place to prevent your drink from spilling all over.
Step 6: Ice the Mason Jar
Add ice now, if you want crushed ice, crush it before shaking. The glass itself sweats A LOT so don't have ice sitting in there from the beginning of the project or else it will just be in a puddle by now.
Step 7: Garnish and Drink
Add in the lime strip you peeled, mash it down with bar spoon or straw, then enjoy! You made it this far but not much further since 2 or 3 of these enough for a casual night of quarantine drinking.
