You could use this process to make any sort of Wooden Card sets (Playing Cards, Pokemon)

What you need :

Step 1: Create the Vector Art

Create the Vector Art

First you will have to create you Vector Art. I have attached the Illustrator file I used to this Instructable. You can either edit that or follow the steps below to do it yourself.

1. Choose your Design Program. I used Adobe Illustrator, but CorelDraw or InkScape would work just fine.

2. I tried to use a blackscale version of the card I got online, but it didn't translate very well to wood. So instead of using the actual image, I traced all the main features and created a very black and white image of my desired card. This allowed me to easily change the name and add new rules and tweaks.

3. To do this, open up an Image of your desired card and trace the shapes that make up the artwork. Simple squares, circles and text will do the job just fine.

4. Create your new rules or copy the exact ones from the card.

5. If you want, you can import a new center image for the card.

6. Finally, delete the image you used.

7. Repeat the process for the back of the card.
