Introduction: Year Round Grapevine Wreath
This started out to be a Summer wreath to put above our fireplace. See how it is going to be a year round wreath.
Step 1: Materials
Materials; grapevine wreath 28”
Several bunches of greenery
Several bunches of different colored silk flowers
Wire cutters
Wire for hanging
Step 2: Step 2
Stick the greenery around the outside, I used the long grass
stems for this
Stick second greenery toward the inside, I used fern stems
Make sure you see you have great coverage
Step 3: Step 3
Start at the point of what you want the bottomed of you
wreath to be and place two to three large flowers.
Now take one side and start sticking in places your other flower stems, I always use wire cutters to cut them from the bunch. Go up the first side.
Now do the same as you did on the other side. Make sure you are really sticking both the greenery and silk flowers into the grape vine wreath.
Stand back and look at the wreath to make sure you do not have bare spots or you want to add or take away from the wreath.
Step 4: Step 4
After I finished and had the wreath the way I wanted it I
held it up and placed it on the wall.
I was going to take it down and then realized the flowers and greenery was staying right in place.
Then I sat down and thought why glue it I can use this for Summer and then change the flowers for Fall, Christmas, Winter and Spring.
I hope you will give this a try and send me pictures of how your wreath came out. I will post pictures when we get to Fall.
