Hello Fam!

Today I wanted to share with you the simplest recipe I know - waffles using only 2 ingredients. You can make them in as many flavors as you want. Perhaps you want to make orange and black colored Halloween pancakes, or red and green Christmas ones. Just swap out the ice cream flavors!

Super tasty and easy to make, hope you enjoy!

Step 1: Watch the Video!

If you like learning through videos, here I show you how I make these waffles step-by-step!

Step 2: Gather Your Ingredients

For each waffle that you want to make, all you'll need is:

-1 pint of ice cream

- 160 grams of Self Rising Flour

Before you melt the ice cream, you can optionally take a scoop out and stick it in the freezer (you'll see why later)

Step 3: Melt and Sift

Put the pints of ice cream into a microwave without the lids. I like to do it in about 20 second increments so it doesn't overheat and start splattering.

Grab a scale and a sifter and measure out 160 grams into the sifter.

If you are making multiple flavors of ice cream, you'll want to make each batter one at a time.

Sift the flour into a bowl containing the melted ice cream and stir just enough to combine.

Step 4:

After your waffle iron is pre-heated, scoop in half of the batter right into the middle.

If your waffle iron has a doneness setting, start with it right in the middle, you can always adjust it after you see how the first waffle turns out.

Step 5: Garnish and Serve!

After you are finished with your first round of pancakes, you can repeat the process with as many flavors of ice cream as you want. I went with a nice cherry flavor and a mint chocolate chocolate chip. They both turned out amazing!

If you took a scoop of ice cream out earlier, place it on top to garnish. It'll impress the socks off of your guests.
