You may not have had the opportunity to watch the legendary Muhammad Ali work his magic in the ring. But that’s not going to stop you from making your very own DIY Boxing Robot that can bring down the opponent with a punch or two, is it?

Get ready to take the game in your hands and knock your opponents out with this easy-to-make Boxing Robot as it throws merciless punches at them as hard or as super hard you want!

Step 1: Things You'll Need:

  • HC05 Bluetooth Module
  • Metal Servo and its accessories
  • Blix Gear Box
  • Chassis
  • Motor Mounts
  • DC Motors
  • Wheels
  • Castor Wheel
  • Cable Ties
  • M3 bolts and nuts
  • Cardboard

Step 2: The Base of the Robot:

To make the base (let’s say the legs of the boxer), we need chassis.

Now on it, attach motor mounts, DC Motors, and wheels.

Attach evive on top of it.

To make it stable, add castor wheel. The castor wheel that we have used is a 3D printed one.

Step 3: The Man Himself:

It's time to make the boxing mechanism:

The metal servo is mounted on the top of chassis using cable ties.

The punches are 3D printed and the face is a cardboard cutout. You can make more than just punches with the help of the 3D printer. Own a 3D printer now.

The body is made using Blix’s pieces.

NOTE: You can make the assembly using the Lego Blocks or you can even be creative with cardboard.

Make sure to mount a servo horn at the base of the body.

Now attach the servo horn onto the servo head of chassis.

Step 4: Time to Bring Him to Life:

Time to add Bluetooth Module HC05 making your boxer fight the way you want to using Smartphone.

Make the connections as per the schematics are given below:

Upload the code:

And Done! Your robot turns, move or punch according to your instructions provided via the GamPad app.
