Introduction: Cheesy Ground Beef Bell Peppers
Whenever dinner time comes around in my household, I'm always thinking about what can I put on the table that is healthy, fast and easy to make. To be completely honest with you, I am not the most creative when it come to dinners but if you want desserts... well I'll have you covered. Sometimes, dinner creativity is a struggle for me :-) but these stuffed bell peppers are a classic in my house. These bell peppers are sweet, full of flavor (because I always flavor my ground beef to perfection) and the cheese on top adds extra creaminess and favor as well! Give them a try if you are looking for something easy to make. Always season everything to your own liking because that's what cooking is all about! And it should come from the heart, made with love! Step 1: Ingredients and Tools
Ingredients
- 2 Tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1 Onion (diced)
- 4 cloves of Garlic (minced)
- 1 lb. Ground Beef
- Salt and pepper (to your taste)
- ½ Tablespoon Paprika
- 1 teaspoon Pepper Flakes
- 1 Tablespoon Italian Seasoning
- 1 teaspoon Taco Seasoning
- 2 Bell Peppers
- 1 Cup Cheese (shredded)

Step 2: Add Oil and Saute
In a large sauce pan add oil and allow to heat up on medium heat. Once oil is hot add in onions and sauté onions until translucent (about 6 mins) add garlic and cook 30 seconds.
Step 3: Add Ground Beef
Add grounded beef to mixture. Break meat up with wooden spoon. Allow meat to fully cook (until there is no more pink).
Step 4: Season Meat
Add in salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, paprika, pepper flakes and taco seasoning all to taste.
Step 5: Simmer
Allow meat mixture to simmer on low for 10 mins.
Step 6: Slice Bell Peppers
Slice bell peppers in half and clean core (keep the green stems on). Add the bell peppers to a cooking dish.
Step 7: Stuff Bell Peppers
Add the meat mixture into bell peppers (make sure they are stuffed).
Step 8: Top With Cheese
Add cheese to the top (I've shredded mine). Add as much or as little as you like.
Step 9: Bake
Bake at 375 F for 7-8 minutes then broil until cheese is golden brown.
Step 10: Enjoy!
