Introduction: Floating Cooking Oil Candle
A simple but effective way to make a safe floating candle.
" Material list: "
- some (packing) plastic.
- cotton swabs.
- cork.
- cooking oil.
- water.
- a drinking glass or other decorative water container.
Cut some plastic and make some folds.
Cut the cotton swab roughly in halve.
Stick it through the plastic and put a piece of cork underneath it.
Fill a glass with water and pour about 2 cm of cooking oil on top of that. Light it! It can take a while the first time to catch fire but gets better the next time.
