How to Play Mancala

Hi everyone I just recently got a new Mancala board and pieces. Then I saw the how to play Challenge and I thought "great I will show people how to play Mancala" So here I am. Mancala is a fun classic game & I hope you enjoy this instructable, and the game

Step 1: What You Need

To Play Mancala what you need is a Mancala board and the 48 stones that come with it. I got mine from Walmart.com The one I got is fancy it folds up! Awesome!

Step 2: Set It Up

To set it up put 4 Stones in each circuler hole. And now you are ready to begin.

Step 3: The Rules Part 1

Mancala is a game for 2 players.

To start pick a player to go first, Then that person takes all of the stones out of one of his (or her) holes and places a stone in each of the holes after that (going to the right) until you run out of stones. if your last stone lands in the big hole at the end of the board (the mancala hole) then you get to go again Yay!

Step 4: The Rules Part 2

If you can get your last stone to land in a empty hole (that on the other side parallel there is at least 1 stone) you get both the last stone you placed, And all the ones in the parallel hole. this works on both sides. Also you can not touch the stones to count how many are in a hole (if you do on your turn you have to use those stones if you want to or not) The game ends when one side of the board has no more stones. To find out who wins take all the stones out of the mancala holes, and count them whoever has the most stones wins.
