Introduction: Miniature Paper Robots

About: I can't think of a single thing to tell you about me. I'm a boring individual who stays busy to avoid being bored. Please feel free to follow me for the awesome things I sometimes create.

so this is contributing with my experiment for what can I do with strip's of paper. So please follow along to learn how I made these cute little robots. They make great scrapbooking ephemera and would be adorable added to paper clips to make cute paper clip embellishments. Or they make fun paper dolls to play with.

Step 1: Cutting

cut a square of paper 1/2 inch by 1/2 inch.

Cut a rectangular piece 1/2 inch by 3/8 inch

Cut two small strip's 1/2 by 1/8 inch

Punch two dots of white and two dots of your main body color

Use pinking shears and cut 2 strip's 1/2 by 1/8 inch wide.

With pinking shears you usually have to cut several strip's before you get two that are the same.

Also don't worry if your measurements are exact. A little variance makes for cuterobots. So make some with wider heads or larger antenna. Just have fun.

Step 2: Assembly

put glue on the top of your 3/8 inch piece and glue this behind your 1/2 inch piece.

Step 3: The Ears

for your two punched out circles to the backside of the 1/2 inch square piece.

Step 4: The Arms

glue your two 1/8 inch strip's to the backside of the body as shown in the photo.

Step 5: The Antenna

for your two steps cut with pinking shears to the top of the head as seen in the photo.

Step 6: The Eyes

glue the two white punched circles to the head as seen in the photo above.

Step 7: Decorate

using a black pen I added eyes, a mouth, claws on the hands, and two squares to the body to represent feet.

This is the step where you get to be creative, play around with different mouths, make the eyes different sizes. Almost anything goes.

You can also take a small strip of white and cut squares from this to glue to the body as buttons.

Step 8: Tools Needed

a hole punch,

Paper trimmer

Pinking shears

Scissors

Glue (I used a glue stick)

Black fine point pen ( I used a precise v5 from pilot)

Cardstock in white and another color. (I used blue and grey)
