The site cam.autodesk.com is your resource center for Autodesk CAM software.
There are two fully integrated CAD/CAM options:
- Inventor HSM Pro 2016
- Fusion 360 CAM
Both are great for beginners.
Additional CAM options:
- Delcam (to install the latest versions of DelCAM products, contact the CNC Lead Instructor)
- good for advanced users and 5-axis operation

- Powerful and widely used

Be prepared:
- Watch videos
- Take notes
- Take the class
- Generate tool paths at your desk
- Handout for CNC machine (you are required to use it at all times)
Report broken tools to any Shop Staff member.
Don't interrupt others while setting up and operating a CNC machine.
Machine (Haas CNC lathe and mill) must always be in 5% rapid.
Get a lot of rest.
