Introduction: Pint-Sized Slasher Paper Mache Costume- Fallout 3
This is a halloween costume I made for this year. The costume is for a character in Fallout 3 that is an urban legend in the lore of the game. You play as him briefly in Tranquility Lane and is a serial killer. I know it is a little late, but I'm not so good at time management. In this Instructable I will be making a Shirt, knife, and mask. This is my first Instructable.

Step 2: Mask Shape
The first step is to inflate a big balloon to 5 inches more than the circumference of your head. Then inflate three more balloons to make the dimples and nose. Then use the chicken wire to shape into the hat and shoulder piece.
Step 3: Paper Mache
First mix up the glue mix that will be used. It's 3 parts glue to 1 part water. Before you start tear the newspaper into strips. Then you get the newspaper wet and cover all of the surfaces (balloons and chicken wire). Let it dry then add a second coat to everything. This is the longest and messiest step so make sure you don't have anything else planned as clean up takes a while.
Step 4: Painting and Attaching
First pop all of the balloons and remove them. Then cover all of the pieces in the primer of your choice. After that put all of the pieces together and attach them with a combination of hot glue and duct tape. After that paint the main body white. Don't forget to cut a hole in the eyes where the pupils would be so you can see.
Step 5: Painting
This step takes some time. It is all just sketching on the shape of the facial features then painting according to the original image.
It s all acrylic paint.
It s all acrylic paint.
Step 6: T-Shirt
First you take the White T-Shirt and stretch it over a board so the shirt is flat. Then you take black acrylic paint and water it down until it resembles pen ink. Then paint stripes going all along the shirt. The more off with the most drips the better. It really adds to the creepy effect. After you finish the first side let it dry or flip it and support it with something to keep it elevated (make sure to have newspaper under all this). After you are done carefully slide the shirt off of the board and hang it somewhere to dry.
Step 7: Knife
First find some cardboard and draw the shape of your knife (the slasher uses a kitchen knife) then cut out 2 of that shape that layer next to each other. Then cut out the shape of the handle (2 of each). Layer these al together and keep them together with scotch tape. then wrap the handle with black duct tape and the blade with sliver duct tape.
Step 8: Show It Off
This step is the most fun because you get to show off your creepy new look. To finish it off roll your jeans up above the top of your shoes. The only thing left off of this was the green rope which ties around the neck (It wasn't dry yet).
