Puzzle Chair

The Puzzle Chair, is a Chair that you can put together like a puzzle. The puzzlepieces are made with a lasercutter.

At first you can copy the model and put it in the lasercutter. If you do that, you actually allready have the whole chair. You only just have to put all the pieces together! It's that easy! I also made other parts, like a basket to put your glass or book in. And at least I also tought about a readlamp on the chair. All the different staps are mentioned down below. Have fun creating this chair!

Step 1: Lasercut the Pieces of the Chair.

First your going to make the pieces of the chair. Down below their is a Adobe Illustrator file that you can use to lasercut. You also can make in the Adobe Illustrator changes so you can make the chair as big as you want.

Step 2: Put the Pieces Together

Now you have al the pieces to make the chair. The only thing you need to do is to fit the pieces together. I made sure that you know exactly which pieces need to be where.

Step 3: The Basket

After you made the chair. You are going to make the basket. I made a file so you can but it directly in the 3D-printer. If you want you can make it bigger. You can fix the basket on the chair with a bolt and nut.

Step 4: The Lamp

Now your chair is almost finised. You only just need a lamp. What I advise is to buy a lamp at the Ikea and fix that on the chair. I just used a LED-lamp on the picture, that is because I made the chair on scale. You can move this lamp in all the positions you want. So just put the lamp on the same spot as I put the LED-lamp. And you can totally chose by yourself if you want a lamp on battery or plug.

Now you have finished your chair. Have fun with it!
