Supplies
Step 1: Ingredients
- 2 teaspoon (8 g) sesame oil
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 2 teaspoons (7 g) fresh grated ginger
- 2 teaspoon (8 g) brown sugar
- ¼ cup (60 g) soy sauce (low sodium)
- 2 teaspoons (8 g) Sriracha
- 6 oz ramen noodles
- Sliced green onions and toasted sesame seed for garnish optional
Step 2: Heat Sesame Oil and Cook Garlic and Ginger
In a large saucepan, heat sesame oil over medium heat. Add garlic and ginger to pan and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring occasionally careful not to burn it.
Step 3: Add Sugar, Sriracha and Soy Sauce
Turn off heat and whisk in brown sugar, Sriracha and soy sauce. Make sure you are using low sodium soy sauce because if you don't, the ramen will be too salty.
Step 4: Add Ramen to Sauce
Cook ramen noodles according to package directions. Drain the ramen noodles. Add in noodles and toss with the sauce.
Step 5: Top With Toppings
Top with chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Enjoy!
