Introduction: Spicy Cavatappi
This instructable will teach you the recipe to make a Spicy Cavatappi similar to Carrabba's Cavatappi Amatriciana. My wife and I love this Italian side dish.

Step 1: Ingredients
Cavatappi or similar psata
Medium yellow onion
2 garlic cloves
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (add more if you want it spicier)
1/4 cup olive oil
3/4 cup white cooking wine
2 cans diced tomato, with juice
Grated romano cheese

Step 2: Pasta
Begin boiling pasta, strain when finished
Step 3: Slice'em -n- Dice'em
-Chop onion
-Mince garlic
-Mince garlic
Step 4: Saute
Saute onion, garlic, and red pepper in olive oil until tender - Use a medium saucepan
Step 5: Wine Anyone?
Add wine and cook until nearly evaporated.
Step 6: Maters!!!
-Add cans of diced tomato
-Cook until sauce begins to thicken, it will thicken more when its removed from the heat.

Step 7: You Got Served!
Mix desired amount of sauce with strained pasta and top with cheese!!
