Introduction: Spicy Pumpkin Skin Chutney
For making Spicy pumpkin skin chutney we need
-Washed n chopped pumpkin skin
-grated coconut 3-4 tbsp
-ground nuts 2-3 tbsp
-sesame seeds 2 tbsp
-green chillies (1-2)
-fresh coriander leaves
-oil 2 tbsp
-mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
- cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
- turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
-asafoetida powder 1/4 tsp
-Washed n chopped pumpkin skin

- cumin seeds 1/2 tsp

-asafoetida powder 1/4 tsp
Step 1:
in a pan put oil, when its properly heated put mustard seeds
when mustard seeds start popping add cumin seeds
when cumin seeds start popping add asafoetida powder and turmeric powder
then put chopped pumpkin skin, ground nuts, grated coconut, sesame seeds and green chillies.
give it a stir.
n cover it using lid.
let it cook for some time, so as pumpkin skin becomes soft (little soft- when u try to cut it using spoon it should cut)
while cooking give it a stir 2/3 times in between
when it is cooked add fresh coriander to it
when mustard seeds start popping add cumin seeds
when cumin seeds start popping add asafoetida powder and turmeric powder
then put chopped pumpkin skin, ground nuts, grated coconut, sesame seeds and green chillies.
give it a stir.
n cover it using lid.
let it cook for some time, so as pumpkin skin becomes soft (little soft- when u try to cut it using spoon it should cut)
while cooking give it a stir 2/3 times in between
when it is cooked add fresh coriander to it
Step 2:
let the mixture cool for some time
then grind the mixture in a grinder/mixer
