Introduction: Tips to Improve Your Spring Cleaning
Here we have assembled some of the best and tried-and-true tips from everywhere from the internet to our own moms! Especially with the current events in 2020, this is as important as possible. Follow this and you are sure to keep clean and avoid spreading germs as much as possible.
Step 1: Clutter, Clutter, Clutter!
The biggest part of spring cleaning is getting rid of unnecessary things you don't need. Clean up that stack of papers that's been in your room forever. Throw away that old knapsack that's in your closet. Whatever it is, we're sure you have and we encourage you to throw it away as soon as possible! Believe us, you'll feel much better afterward.
Step 2: Money?
Yes, we see those fancy cleaners on the aisle too. But try to resist; there is always almost an alternative way on the internet. Resist the temptation to buy different varieties and always keep the cost to a minimum, while having maximum quality. For example, pour some Coke or similar soda on stains inside a toilet and let it sit for a couple of hours until you flush and the bowl is gleaming white. Of course, never mix dangerous chemicals together either.
Step 3: Assorted Specific Tips
-Use a moist rubber dishwashing glove to remove pet hair easily.
- To clean your microwave easily, combine one cup of water, one cup of vinegar, and two tablespoons of lemon juice in a bowl. Put the bowl in the middle of your microwave and set it on high for two minutes. Then, wipe it down with a moist cloth.
-Have stinky shoes? Sprinkle baking soda in the shoes and let them sit overnight. Shake them out the next day and there you go.
-Disinfect common germ buildups, like electronics, TV remotes, or doorknobs.
-Rub the cut side of a lemon on your cutting board to remove those annoying stains.
-Make sure to clean any game consoles regularly, as these accumulate a lot of germs and you touch them before eating a lot. (Use 70% rubbing alcohol instead of cleaner like in the picture, it is for effect.)
