Introduction: Tree-house Elevator
Have you ever fixed for your kids a tree-house but they cant climb up with what they want because they need both hands for climbing?
Here is the solution. Make a simple tree-house elevator that could transfer snacks, books, tablets, table games etc.
Step 1: What You Will Need...
- A basket
- A rope
- Strings
- A tree-house
Step 2: Step 2
Tie the beginning of the rope on a vertical branch at he same level of the tree-house. Pass the rope over an other horizontal branch and let it fall till the ground. Then cut the other end about 30cm from the ground. Then cut 4 40cm strings and tie each one to different side of the basket. Afterwards, tie them all together to the end of the rope as seen in the second picture.
Step 3: Step 3
So the next time your children decide to play on the tree-house, the only thing they have to do, is to place their objects in the basket and since they are up, they can pull up the basket from the rope.
You can use the same pattern to collect fruit from the tree. Cut them from the branches and place them in the basket. Then, just transfer the fruit to the ground slowly, with safety, without the fear of squeezing them!
