Introduction: Kitchen Sponge Ice Packs
Need a cheap easy way to make a reusable ice pack? Follow these easy steps and you'll be on your way to quick savings.
*All items used in this tutorial were purchased from a local dollar store.
What you will need:
1)regular kitchen sponge (no abrasive side)
2)freezer safe baggie
3)rubbing alcohol
4)water
Steps:
1)gather materials
2)place regular kitchen sponge into freezer safe bag
3)poor about one table spoon of rubbing alcohol into bag
4)poor about 4 1/2 table spoons of water into bag
5)close bag partially leaving one end open for air to escape
6)squeeze the sponge in order to absorb liquid
7)remove excess air and close bag
8)place in a freezer for 1-2 hours
9)remove from freezer and give the pack a squeeze it should be semi solid yet still moldable.
10)place on effected area
