Introduction: The Ultimate Duct Tape Wallet

It's hard to make but its worth it.

Step 1: Materials

for this you will need;

duct tape
clear packaging tape or clear plastic film
9 volt battery
rivet things (optional)

tools;

xacto knife
scissors
pliers
wire cutters
rolling pin
straight edge
ruler
sharpie

remember to cut the duct tape with the xacto blade, if you tear the duct tape it will look crappy

Step 2: Start

cut 2 pieces of duct tape around 42 cm long
overlap them by 1/4 (look at the picture to see what I mean)
make it into an inside out loop

Step 3: Make the Main Pocket

fold a piece of DT (i'm too lazy to type Duct tape) over the bottom to make a pocket
cover the outside in DT
at the top fold into the pocket

Step 4: Make the Pocket Divider

overlap two pieces of DT
cover the sticky side
cut it so it can fit in the pocket

Step 5: Install the Divider

put the divider in the pocket
DT the divider to the pocket at the ends
flatten it with the rolling pin
fold it in half an flatten it again

Step 6: Wi Not Trei a Holiday in Sweeden This Yer

bend up the metal around the top of the 9 volt
take out the top and cut it in half

Step 7: See the Loveli Lakes

cut a hole in a piece of DT abuot a cm from the edge
stick the 9 volt snap through it
fold the DT over
repeat with the other one

Step 8: The Wonderful Telephone System

overlap two pieces of DT
cover the sticky side
cut it so it's 6 cm by 18.5 cm (i guessed on the secong measurement since i forgot)
draw the drawing shown below on the DT and cut the outside lines and fold the inside ones

Step 9: And Mani Interesting Furry Animals

DT the 9 volt snap onto the folded pocket
then DT the pocket onto the wallet

Step 10: Including the Majestik Moose

make the other snap into a flap and DT it above the pocket so it lines up with the other snap

Step 11: A Moose Once Bit My Sister...

overlap two pieces of DT
cover the sticky side
cut it so it's about 9 cm by 10 cm
fold the top cm down

Step 12:

Step 13: We Apologise for the Fault in the Titles. Those Responsible Have Been Sacked

stick the credit card slot onto the flap
stick the credit card slot onto the wallet too
repeat

Step 14: Mynd You Moose Bites Kan Be Pretti Nasti

if you have plastic film instead of packaging tape (PT) ignore this

DT a piece of PT to the table face up
strip the glue off of it by sticking PT on it and pulling it up

Step 15: We Apologise Again for the Fault in the Titles. Those Responsible for Sacking the People Who Have Just Been Sacked, Have Been Sacked

print out a symbol (in this case it's the irken invader logo)
PT it to a strip of DT
cut out the symbol
make 2 of them
stick the stripped PT (or the plastic film) on it
cut the DT so it's as wide as a credit card
put the other piece of DT on it that hangs a cm off both sides (make sure you sandwich the stripped PT )
cut a piece of DT 2 cms wide
put it on the bottom so a cm hangs off
put it on the wallet flap

Step 16: Finished

DT the flap onto the wallet
your done (yay finially)

(optional, well actually all of it's optional, but this is especially optional)
rivet the corners (i did this with my crappy older DT wallet)

Step 17: Update

I added a keyholder and a pen onto my wallet. So, here's how to make them
for this you will need;

duct tape
pen refill
key
xacto knife

Step 18: Key Holder

place your key on a strip of duct tape.

cut out a triangle a little larger than the key.

place the triangle on the back of another strip of duct tape.

fold over excess duct tape.

stick it onto your wallet, or anywhere you need a keyholder.

Step 19: Pen Holder

wrap a small strip, about 3/4 of an inch, of duct tape sticky side out on the pen refill, and do it again with a larger strip, about 1 1/4 of an inch.

cut out a strip of tape exactly as wide as the small roll, and another one a little wider than the long roll.

stick the strips on their corresponding rolls.

stick them right below the card flap on your wallet.

add some duct tape on the end of the refill to give you some grip, and you're done.
