Introduction: Miniature Burger by Dylan

Miniature polymer clay burger.

Supplies

Polymer clay (white, green, yellow, red and brown)
Ruler
Scalpel
Toothpick
Oven heated to 110c

Step 1: Making the Bun

Mix white and brown polymer clay to make a beige bun colour. Start with the white and then add small pieces of brown until you get the color you want.
If you wish to make a double meat burger (I ended up not using the middle bun as I felt it was getting too tall and out of proportion) divide the bun coloured polymer clay into 3 (one which will become the middle slice should be slightly smaller the the other two). Roll all 3 into balls and then flatten out two of them (the smallest one and one other) using your ruler.
Shape the last ball with your fingers to make a semi sphere.

Step 2: Making the Fillings

For the cheese take a small piece of yellow polymer clay and roll into a ball and then squash with your ruler. Using your scalpel cut into a square slightly larger then the bottom bun.

For the lettuce take a small piece of green polymer clay and roll into a ball and then squash with your ruler. Using your scalpel cut into a rough circle shape slightly larger then the cheese. Use a toothpick to texture the top face of the lettuce

For the meat patty take a small piece of brown polymer clay and roll into a ball and then squash with your ruler.

Step 3: Building the Burger

Starting with bottom bun, then the cheese, the burger and then the second slice of cheese and then the top bun.
Roll tiny pieces of white polymer clay to form the seeds and stick them to the top of the bun.
